How to register:
  1. Go to                                       and click <Not Registered?>
  2. Complete all required fields and check the <Allow Zerofootprint to contact me> check-box if you would like to permit Zerofootprint to contact you.
  3. To read the <Terms of Service> and the Zerofootprint Toronto Privacy Policy, click the <terms of service>
  4. To complete your registration you must check the <Accept terms of service> check-box and then click <Sign Up>
  5. When you have registered successfully, the <View Profile> page displays with the nick-name you entered on the Registration page showing next to <About Me>. If there are any errors during registration they will be displayed above the Registration input boxes.

Creating a Profile
  1. In the <View Profile> tab, click the <Edit Profile> link beside <About Me>.
  2. In the Edit My Profile section, enter your information in the fields you wish to include in your profile. Note: To enter your neighborhood, begin entering the first few letters of your neighborhood's name. For example, for "The Beaches", you may enter "b-e-a-c" etc. Once a match for the text you entered is found in the Zerofootprint Toronto database the Neighborhood box will display a list of selections in yellow below the text box. Click on the desired yellow selection.
  3. In the Privacy Settings section, you may adjust your privacy settings by checking off boxes below. Note: If you leave all of the boxes un-checked, all your information with the exception of your nickname will remains invisible to other users of Zerofootprint Toronto.
  4. To add your profile picture, click the <Browse> button on the right side of the screen and select the image file you wish to upload.
  5. Click the <Update> button at the bottom of the page to complete your profile.
  6. Once you create your profile, you may customize the carbon calculator questions to suit your lifestyle and enter your footprint data by following the calculator steps 1 to 4 on the web page. Make sure to set goals in the <Tips> section, as this will help you reduce your environmental impact over time.
Joining our Coaching Youth Group
  1. Click <My Community> at the top of any page. The <My Groups> tab will be highlighted and a list of groups you may wish to join will be displayed below <Find groups that appeal to you and join the conversation.>
  2. Look for our group name (Coaching Youth)
  3. To join, click <Join this Group>.
